This application is running on Microsofts .NET Compact Framework of version 2. .NET Compact Framework 2 comes pre-installed with all new Windows Mobile 6 units, and therefore StopWatch runs directly on these platforms.

The application is compatible with all Winodws Mobile phones and handheld computers with Compact Framework 2 and that has a screen resolution of VGA or WVGA. This means that amongst others, these phones can run StopWatch:

• HTC Touch Diamond
• HTC Touch Pro
• HTC Touch HD
• Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
• All phones with VGA or WVGA screens...

StopWatch has two main functions. The first one is the stopwatch and the second one is the timer. The stopwatch has two modes, that together completes the application by providing two different ways of displaying split times. In the VGA edition StopWatch can handle up to 10 split times at the same time, and due to the larger screen area on a WVGA phone the WVGA version can handle up to 16 split times per run.
